'Tinubu may be an Escobar but he is no Mmesoma Ejikeme' - Reno Omokri

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has taken to the defence of President Bola Tinubu and his drug cartel history.

In a post shared on his Twitter page, Omokri said that despite his drug trafficking history, President Tinubu attended and graduated from Chicago State University.

He was of the view that he personally verified the information and that claims Tinubu falsified his certificate is false.

According to the controversial social media critic, although Tinubu may be an Escobar, he is not Mmesoma Ejikeme who has been accused of forging her JAMB results.

He tweeted;

"President Bola Tinubu has a known drug cartel history. But he attended and graduated from Chicago State University. It is in my interest to lie and say he did not go. But he went. I went there to verify in person. I counsel everyone to focus on the drug links. The falsification of certificate allegation is a dead end. Tinubu may be an Escobar. But he is no Mmesoma Ejikeme!"
