The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC), has announced the new prices of fuel in some states.
On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, the new price of fuel stands at N1,030 per litre in Abuja, while residents in Lagos will buy fuel at N998 per litre.
This upward review comes following the economic hardship happening in the country.
Recall that the price of fuel skyrocketed after President Bola Tinubu assumed office on May 29, 2023, and announced the removal of fuel subsidy.
As the news hit the internet, Nigerians raised concerns and shared their thoughts on the new increment.
