Tinubu has broken all myths in this country - Presidential aide, Dele Alake

Dele Alake, the Special adviser on Special duties, Communications and Strategy to President Bola Tinubu, has said the action plan, ‘Renewed Hope’, has actually come to reality.

According to him, Nigerians have been given a new lease of life following the decisions of President Tinubu in his first weeks as leader of the country.

Speaking in an interview with NTA, on June 15, Alake described President Tinubu's work as exciting and refreshing.

He said; “It’s been exhilarating. It’s been very exciting. It’s been refreshingly different for Nigerians. In fact, President Tinubu has broken all myths in this country. This man, President Tinubu, has demonstrated that public trust and confidence can be won.

This afternoon, when we were reviewing policies, that’s what we do; that’s what he (Tinubu) does. He monitors very effectively and efficiently. We concluded that the title of his action plan, ‘Renewed Hope’, has actually come to reality because Nigerians have been given a new lease of life.”

Since President Tinubu assumed office, he has removed fuel subsidy, suspended the EFCC boss, Abdulrasheed Bawa, suspended the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, held meetings with governors, appointed special advisers, announced plans to increase the minimum wage, among others.
