The Presidency has said President Bola Tinubu didn't fall in Turkey but only stumbled when he missed his step.

A video surfaced on Tuesday showing the incident during Tinubu's State Visit to Turkey.

Despite many regarding the incident as a fall, the Special Adviser tot ge President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga described it ss just a stumble.

But Onanuga said the President merely stepped on an object, resulting in a minor loss of balance.

“The President stepped on a metal on the floor, which made him lose his balance,” Onanuga said.

“This is not a big deal, except for those who want to make mischief out of a fleeting incident. It was a mere stumble, thank God, not a fall,” he added.
