Tinubu approves 4 new appointments, details emerge

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has confirmed the appointment of Rotimi Pedro, from Lagos state, as the new director general (DG) of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).

The presidency announced the appointment in a statement issued on its official website on X.

According to the statement, the president also announced the appointment of 3 other executive directors into different departments in the organisation.

"President Tinubu Strengthens National Broadcasting, Appoints New NTA DG and EDs," presidency tweeted.

The new management appointed for the NTA are as follows:

1) Rotimi Richard Pedro (Lagos, South-West) is appointed Director-General

2) Karimah Bello (Katsina, North-West) becomes Executive Director, Marketing

3) Stella Din (Plateau, North-Central) is the new Executive Director, News

4) Sophia Issa Mohammed (Adamawa, North-East) assumes office as Managing Director, NTA Enterprises Limited
