President Bola Tinubu has named Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, former Kano State Governor, as the Chairman of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Board.

The appointment, announced during the inauguration of new FAAN board members in Abuja on July 9, 2025, follows Ganduje’s resignation as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on June 27, 2025, citing health concerns.

Ali Bukar Dalori, previously Deputy National Chairman (North), has since assumed the role of APC Acting National Chairman, as directed by Tinubu, pending the party’s National Executive Committee meeting.
