A video has resurfaced of clergyman, Tunde Bakare telling his church members that he will become the next president of Nigeria after Muhammadu Buhari.
This video appeared shortly after his defeat at the concluded All Progressives Congress primaries held at the Eagles Square in Abuja on June 8.
The clergyman who paid N100 million for the presidential nomination form, scored zero votes. He was beaten by Bola Tinubu who polled 1,271 votes to emerge as the party flagbearer for the 2023 general election.
During one of his sermon, Bakare said to his congregation;
"Take it to the mountain top. If you have never heard it before I am saying it to you, in the scheme of things, as far as the politics of Nigeria is concerned, President Buhari is number 15 and yours truly is number 16.
I have never said that to you before. I make it plain this morning. I let you know it this morning, nothing can change it in the name of Jesus."
Reacting to this, Nigerians have since taken to social media to share their thoughts on his declaration and outcome of the primaries.
