Throwback video of Tinubu announcing plans for Blue Rail Line when he was Lagos Governor

A video has emerged of President Bola Tinubu speaking of his plans to introduce the rail project in Lagos state when he was Governor.

On Monday, September 4, Lagos began the first of commercial operations for its Blue Rail Line project.

At the launch was the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who joined other Lagosians and state officials on the first trip.

According to reports, this Blue rail line was first initiated by Bola Tinubu when he was Governor of Lagos state. His successor, Babatunde Raji Fashola continued the course but was completed by Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

In a throwback video, Tinubu spoke about his plans to introduce the rail line and the Mass Transit line to ease transportation for Lagosians.
