An old photo of Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, the Chairman of Heirs Holding, Tony Elumelu, Chairman of Forte Oil Plc, Femi Otedola, and the Zenith Bank Chairman, Jim Ovia has resurfaced.

The photo of the Nigerian billionaires is reported to have been taken on June 12 as Nigerians celebrated Democracy Day in 2019 at the Eagle Square.

What do we know about them?

1. Aliko Dangote of Dangote Group: The Nigerian businessman, investor, and majority owner of the Dangote Group was spotted at the Eagle’s square chilling with his friends. Dangote’s net worth was recently pegged at $10.4 billion by Forbes.

2. Femi Otedola of Forte Oil Plc: The Nigerian businessman, philanthropist, and chairman of Forte Oil Plc, shared a picture of himself seated at the Eagle Square waiting for the ceremony to commence. The man was looking all glammed-up.

3. Tony Elumelu, chairman of UBA and Heirs Holdings: The Nigerian economist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, was also present at the Democracy Day celebration. He shared a picture of himself engaging in a hearty conversation with Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote, and other billionaires at the Transcorp Hilton’s hotel lobby, just before they all attended the important event.

4. Jim Ovia founder of Zenith Bank: Nigeria’s businessman and founder of Zenith Bank Plc was also present during the Democracy Day celebration.

Other notable figures include the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, his Deputy, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, and even the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele who was spotted sitting beside Femi Otedola and Jim Ovia.
