Throwback: Don't vote for me for 2nd term if I don't give you constant electricity within 4 years - Asiwaju

A year ago, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu promised to provide constant power supply within his first term in office.

He made this known during his speech at the Business Lunch which was attended by several dignitaries in Lagos State.

In the throwback video making rounds, the President said should he fail to fulfil his promise, Nigerians should not vote for him when he returns for a second term.

“Whichever way, by all means necessary, you must have electricity and you will not pay the estimated bill anymore. A promise made is a promise kept. If I don’t keep the promise and I come back for a second term don’t vote for me. That’s the truth. Unless I give you adequate reasons why I couldn’t deliver,” he said.

Presently the country is faced with economic hardship, the poor exchange rate, hike in fuel prices and high cost of living among others.

Several Nigerians have called on Tinubu to provide a long-lasting solution to the country’s predicament.

This Same man and His goons made lots of Promises prior to becoming what they are now. And they failed. Who held them accountable? Who do You think will hold them accountable if they fail again? You?
