Nigerian Afrobeat star Adekunle Gold has sent out a strong message to his critics, reminding them that their words hold little value.

In a post shared on his official X handle, the singer stated that people who are not doing anything meaningful with their lives are usually the ones with the most to say about others.

“It’s always the ones not doing anything meaningful with their lives that have the most to say about you. When they come for you, keep it moving, they’re not worth your energy,” Adekunle Gold wrote.

His post has since stirred reactions among fans, with many praising him for his boldness and self-assurance. Others noted that the message is a timely reminder for everyone not to waste energy on unnecessary negativity.
