President Muhammadu Buhari's love for 3 piece agbada and locally made outfits cannot be understated.

Since he resurfaced in the political scene, through to his campaign and then the presidency, he has donned different colorful outfits for both official and unofficial occasions.

What many do not know, however, is that the President is just as good looking in a suit as he is in agbada.

Adebola Williams, CEO of RED, a Nigerian media and PR company who spoke to the president in 2015 ahead of his presidential campaign said Buhari wasn't enthused about wearing a suit.

It was in a conversation with the president that he revealed the last time he wore a suit.

Former Governor of Rivers State and Director-General of the Buhari campaign organization at the time narrated a story of how he convinced the APC leader to change his clothes for this fashionable style.

"Buhari said to me, do we have to do all these paparazzi, Amaechi you know my nature but I said to him, sir, you have to wear this suit so that Nigerians can see the handsome side of you.

“We had to convince him and then he finally obliged us and today, that photoshoot is still the best he has ever had. We were able to present the other side of the president that most people did not know."

"Most peeps didn't know he can laugh but we brought out that side of him," he said at a red summit gala which was held at the Harbor Point, off Ahmadu Bello way, Victoria Island Lagos in 2015.

With his tenure set to expire in a few weeks, Buhari has stuck to his traditional outfits.

His successor Bola Ahmed Tinubu isn't any different. All through the campaign, not once has he been seen in a suit.

MyNigeria will keep a close eye on his choice of outfit as he begins his tenure on May 29.
