Nigerian internet personality Jarvis has spoken out amid backlash over her recent Maldives trip with streamer Habeeb Hamzat, firmly rejecting claims that their relationship is based on money.
Her comments follow heated online discussions that gained momentum after Peller’s public clash with Carter Efe, which brought increased scrutiny to their relationship.
In a trending video, Jarvis made it clear that her feelings are not influenced by financial gestures, emphasizing that their connection is genuine.
“Peller knows money cannot buy my love. Even Habeeb knows that money cannot buy Jarvis. He just spends on me because I deserve to be loved and spoiled. And yes, I deserve it,” she said.
She explained that her outlook shifted as the relationship evolved into something more serious, especially with both families now fully aware and supportive.
“Everyone knows I never liked him spending on me before, but now I enjoy it. That’s because I did not know how defined the relationship was but now the relationship is defined,” she stated.
Jarvis added that the involvement and approval of their families have given her a sense of security and direction about their future together.
“Family is involved… his own side approved. So what should I be saying? ‘Don’t do this’? It’s approved. My mind is settled because I know where this is heading,” she explained.
She wrapped up by making it clear that their relationship should not be dismissed or taken lightly.
“Excuse you — this is not a roadside relationship.”
