Al Nassr captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, appears to hint that he would be leaving the club.
But the 40-year-old has however ruled out retirement from football.
After scoring in their final game of the Saudi Pro League season, Ronaldo took to Instagram to say “this chapter is over”.
Ronaldo did not say what his next move would be, though, amid links with Major League Soccer and his first club, Sporting CP.
He simply wrote: “This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Grateful to all.”
Ronaldo is set to become a free agent this summer after talks over a new Al-Nassr deal stalled in recent weeks.
The Saudi side finished 13 points behind league champions Al-Ittihad.
In Ronaldo’s two and a half seasons at the club, Al-Nassr failed to win a trophy.
