'They deserve the humiliation' - Excitement as Keyamo, FFK names omitted in 2nd ministerial list

Social media is currently in a frenzy following the absence of a former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo and a leading member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Femi Fani-Kayode in the second ministerial list of President Bola Tinubu.

On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, President Tinubu sent the Senate a list of 19 new cabinet nominees for consideration and confirmation.

Unexpectedly, after learning that their names were also absent from the first list, Festus Keyamo and Femi Fani-Kayode did not make the second list.

During the lead-up to the 2023 presidential election, which saw Bola Tinubu win, the pair was one of the most prominent Twitter users.

Many people have shared their opinions on social media in response to this development.

Some people have expressed their delight that the names of the duo were omitted from the list of ministers, claiming that they are deserving of all the humiliation they have endured.

Others, however, felt bad for Festus Keyamo because they believed that because of his loyalty to the APC, he ought to have been taken into consideration.
