Veteran musician and a member of the advisory board of the Labour Party in Lagos, Tee Mac Omatshola Iseli has called out the police force for neglecting polling units in Ago Palace Way to Festac in the governorship and state house of assembly elections.

Violence hit parts of Lagos during Saturday's Governorship and State House of Assembly elections with one person feared dead and many injured.

According to Tee Mac in an interview, he was told of plans to attack Obidients in that part of Lagos because of the voting pattern in the presidential and national assembly election.

He said he immediately informed the Labour Party candidate when he was informed of the plot by the All Progressives Congress.

"I had a phone call last week that said Tee Mac, I want you to make sure you have security in your area because I just attended a meeting in Mushin local government with APC top men, bale's and it was agreed that there were going to disturb Ago Palace Way to Festac because we are not pleased that 80 to 90 per cent voted Labour Party"

"I immediately informed the Labour Party campaign organization because I am on the advisory board and appealed to Gbadebo who took it on and appealed to the police that Ago Palace Way needed protection."

"But there was no protection, it was like the police collided in staying off. They wanted the intimidation to happen. They wanted people to stay in because if everyone has come out to vote, it would have gone tremendously in the favour of the Labour Party."

"So I am disappointed that security wasn’t there."
