The world will miss Buhari - Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo says; Nigerians fume

Nigerians have dismissed claims made by Ghanaian President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo that the world will miss President Muhammadu Buhari when he leaves office.

The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo recently showered praises on Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari during a book launch held at the State House in Abuja.

Speaking during the launch of two books titled ‘State of Repar’ how Muhammadu tried to change Nigeria for good written by journalist Anthony Goldman and ‘The Legacy of Muhammadu Buhari’ written by Senator Abu Ibrahim, the Ghanaian president said that the world will miss President Buhari when he leaves office.

Nana Addo who was the Chair of the event said; “As leaders, we all have our high and low moments, but I have no doubts that prosperity will be kind to Muhammadu Buhari. President Buhari, we will miss you. West Africa, Africa indeed the world will miss your leadership. The leadership of the military ruler turned consummate democrat.”

The Vice president-elect, Kashim Shettima, top business mogul and other notable guests were present as the two books were unveiled in the President’s honour.

Reacting to Nana Addo’s comment, some Nigerians took to social media to refutes claims that Buhari will be missed.
