The presidency has revealed the real reason President Bola Tinubu always meets and greets popular sitcom actor Mr. Abiodun Ayo Yinka, who is also known as Papa Ajasco, whenever he is at the Lagos Airport.

Responding to several questions from social media users, Olusegun Dada, the Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Social Media, said Tinubu always meets the actor because he is in charge of the cultural troupe that welcomes the President whenever he is in Lagos.

"I've seen this question pop up in my comments a lot. For context, Papa Ajasco is in charge of the cultural troupe that welcomes Mr. President whenever he is in Lagos," Olusegun Dada said in a post on X.

President Tinubu arrived in Lagos at precisely 3:23 pm on Wednesday, December 18 to celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The President landed at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, Presidential Spokesman Bayo Onanuga said in a statement.

Welcoming him at the airport were Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, members of the Lagos State Executive Council, and key leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
