The moment first wife of Speaker Abbas displaced the second while he was being sworn-in

There was mild drama in the House of Representatives as the newly elected Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abass was being sworn in.

Speaker Abass was caught in between his two wives after his first attempted to displace the second while he was taking his oath of office at the lower chamber of the National Assembly on Tuesday, June 13.

The video has since gone viral since it emerged on social media.

Despite the confrontation, the Speaker carried on with the affair of the day.

Speaker Abass, a member of the House of Representatives from Zaria Federal Constituency in Kaduna State, Tajudeen Abbas was elected Speaker of the Green Chamber.

The anointed candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) defeated Idris Wase and Aminu Jaji in a voice vote on Tuesday at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja.

Abbas scored 352 votes of the total 359 votes cast while Jaji and Wase polled three votes each.
