The President is yet to join our ancestors, but he is on transition - Dino Melaye

Controversial politician and former Senator, Dino Melaye has said that the President is not with the people of the country even though he is "yet to join his ancestors."

According to the former Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, the president has made himself unavailable to the numerous happenings in the country.

He noted that Nigeria has plunged into kidnappings, terrorism, hunger, among many other crises.

Dino Melaye further lamented the lack of coordination in governance as a result of the absence of the President.

"The president is no longer with us. if we have the president with us, we cannot be suffering perilous times like we are suffering now. We cannot be in the situation we are in this country. Banditry, hunger, insecurity, terrorism, kidnapping, every asset of our national life is in danger. The country is on the edge. We are about to explode. Definitely, the president is not with us. And it is so sad that he is not available, he is not with us, and he is yet to join our ancestors. The president is in transition and anyone in transition cannot do anything. That is why there is no coordination in governance."
