The Kaduna State governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rt. Hon. Isa Mohammed Ashiru, has said the state is bleeding under the incompetent All Progressives Congress (APC) government of Governor Uba Sani.

In a post on X, Ashiru lamented that bandits have turned Kaduna Millennium City into a hunting ground, abducting families, including a pregnant woman, a couple and their six-month-old baby from Alrahus Estate, while demanding hundreds of millions.

"This is failure, not governance," the ADC candidate said.

He pointed out that from the Kuriga school mass abduction in 2024, to Kurmin Wali churchgoers in January 2026, to repeated raids in Danhonu, Sabon Gyero, Kyauta and Keke this year, hundreds have been taken under Uba Sani’s watch.

"His 'Peace Model' has delivered only denials, empty visits and more victims. Residents now live in fear near the capital. APC has failed Kaduna.

"We demand the immediate and safe return of all abducted persons. May Almighty Allah protect them, strengthen their families and bring them home unharmed. Security is the government's first duty; this administration has abdicated it. Kaduna deserves better," Ashiru said.
