Terror emerges as bandits kidnap 80 children in the north

Report indicates that bandits have attacked and kidnapped 80 children in the Tsafe local government area of Zamfara state.

The Nation reported that the victims are between the age of 12 and 17.

It was gathered that these children were fetching firewood in the bush on Friday evening, April 7, at about 8am when the bandits attacked and abducted them.

The parents made this known during an interview with the BBC Hausa.

This have left the families in shock over the incident, adding that the assailants are yet to demand any ransom.
