Tell your employees to stay at home, NCDC DG advises business owners

The Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu has encouraged employers of labour to allow their staff work from home.

He made this statement during the Presidential Taskforce briefing on COVID-19.

Chikwe also advised businesses to be empathetic to their employees.

"Be a hero by telling your employees to stay at home especially when they are infected. I encourage every business to be empathetic toward their employees. Keep encouraging your staff to be mentally and physically healthy," the NCDC boss admonished.
