Taraba Governor's aide loses son to ghastly motor accident

Bala Dan-Abu, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba has lost his son after a ghastly motor accident in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.

37-year-old, ASP Odiba Shadrach’s life was cut short while returning from his official duty when a heavy duty-laden trailer lost control and rammed over his car, Channels Tv reports.

The father disclosed that his son died at the spot of the incident, although no date has been fixed by the family for the burial.

The deceased was a graduate of Kogi state university, Anyigba.

He joined the police cadet after his youth service and was later promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police in Port Harcourt, which happens to be his first and last station, according to Channels TV.

However, burial arrangements will be jointly made by the family and authorities of the Nigeria Police Force.
