Big Brother Naija winner and media personality Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has sparked debate online after publicly criticising Nigerian hookup girls over their presentation and work ethic.

In a video circulating on social media, the reality star, who was on a livestream, compared the Nigerian sex work scene to what she observed during a recent trip to Kenya, urging local workers to take their trade more seriously.

Phyna expressed disappointment at what she described as a lack of effort and professionalism in how many Nigerian hookup girls dress when looking for clients.

"I want to kneel down and beg our hookup girls. You girls are not taking your jobs seriously. When I went to Kenya, I saw girls standing on the road wearing heels and rocking nice hair, looking ready for business.

"The hookup girls in Nigeria are not serious, they're not trying... Some of them dress like they are going nearby to buy something. It's so tacky. It's a job, you need to come prepared," Phyna stated.

Her comments have triggered mixed reactions across social media, with some users supporting her stance on personal presentation, while others criticized her for openly discussing and comparing adult work on public platforms.
