Supreme Court delivers judgment in Atiku, Peter Obi's appeals against Tinubu's victory

The Supreme Court is set to deliver judgment on the 2023 presidential election months after the poll took place.

The opposition parties and candidates, Atiku Abubakar, flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party filed an appeal to the Supreme Court seeking to nullify Bola Tinubu’s victory.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the February election.

Both Atiku and Obi petitioned the apex court after the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) upheld Tinubu’s victory.

Months after filing their appeals, the Supreme Court will deliver its verdict which will be the final decision of the 2023 presidential election.
