The Super Falcons of Nigeria are set to face off against Cape Verde in an international friendly later this month.

The two teams will feature at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco between July and August 2026.

The clash will form part of both teams' preparations for the 16th edition of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The encounter is expected to take place this April; however, the precise date and venue have yet to be communicated by the organisers.

Ten-time African champions, the Super Falcons, have been drawn in Group C alongside Egypt, Malawi, and Zambia.

Cape Verde, on the other hand, will be making their debut at the biennial tournament and will come up against Ghana, Cameroon, and Mali in Group D.
