Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal has assured fans that the team will bounce back following their defeat to Inter Milan at the San Siro in the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League.

Inter edged the Catalan giants 4-3 to progress to the final with a 7-6 aggregate score in what was a thrilling semi-final tie.

Goals from Lautaro Martinez and Hakan Çalhanoğlu gave the Nerazzurri a two-goal advantage at halftime before Barcelona staged a strong comeback in the second half, turning the game on its head with goals from Eric García, Dani Olmo, and Raphinha.

Francesco Acerbi scored a late equalizer in stoppage time to force the game into extra time, where Davide Frattesi netted the decisive winner for the home side in the first half of extra time.

In a post-match reaction, Yamal urged players and fans to stand united ahead of their crucial La Liga clash against Real Madrid on Sunday, May 11.

"We gave it our all—this year it couldn’t be, but we will be back, have no doubt about it.

"Culers, we won’t stop until we put this club where it belongs: at the very top. I will keep my promise and bring it to Barcelona; we won’t stop until we achieve it.

"But Sunday is another final, and we all need to be together. Visca el Barça!"
