Standing ovation for Peter Obi as he walks into Soludo's 'One Year In Office' event - Nigerians react

A video is making rounds of Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, receiving a standing ovation as he walks into the hall to attend Governor Soludo's "One Year In Office" event in Anambra state.

On Saturday, March 26, as Soludo, Anambra state Governor was about to present his speech, Peter Obi arrived and walked into the hall filled with people.

Soludo who spotted him walk in, introduced his predecessor as the former governor of the state, he said, "the former governor is coming."

Upon sighting his presence, the audience cheered loudly and gave him a standing ovation as he walked past hurriedly to his seat.

He was seen exchanging pleasantries with former president Olusegun Obasanjo and other top guests at the event.

Reacting to the video, blogger, Tunde Ednut who shared the video on his Instagram page attracted over 136,000 likes and over 199,000 comments.
