Spend money on yourself - Timi Dakolo tells people with next of kin

Singer, Timi Dakolo has sent a message to people with next-of-kin as regards money.

Next of kin usually refers to a person’s closest living relative.

People who are regarded as next of kin include those with a blood relation, such as children, or those with a legal standing, such as spouses or adopted children.

A person’s next of kin often take precedence over others in inheritance cases, especially when a will is not established.

Timi Dakolo, in a tweet on Monday, asked people with next of kin to spend their money on themselves.

Timi added that, some next of kin have no regard for anyone’s toil and hard work as they could waste the money.

He wrote in pidgin, “Try Dey chop your money o, cos these people called next of kin fit carry your hard work go dey do money ain’t a thing, take whatever you like.”
