Sowore calls Peter Obi a liar over his comment that phone call with Oyedepo is fake

2023 Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore has described Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party as a liar.

His comment comes after Peter Obi called the leaked audio involving himself and Bishop David Oyedepo fake.

Recall that an audio involving Peter Obi and the founder of the Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel was trending following the content of the leaked conversation.

In the audio, a man was heard asking another man alleged to be Bishop Oyedepo to help mobilise support for him from the Southwest and Kwara state ahead of the 2023 presidential polls as the election was a religion war.

In a tweet, Peter Obi said; "Let me reiterate that the audio call being circulated is fake, and at no time throughout the campaign and now did I ever say, think, or even imply that the 2023 election is, or was a religious war."

Reacting to Peter Obi's comment, Sowore was of the view that Peter Obi completely lied about his phone call to Bishop Oyedepo despite his top aides confirming the audio.

Taking to his Twitter page, Sowore said;

"How does a LIAR reply when he or she is told , “Liar, liar, pants on fire” they simply say, “I don't care, I don't care, I can buy another pair."
