Some ‘elements’ in Aso Rock want Tinubu to lose in 2023 – El-Rufai

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has alleged that there are people in the Presidential Villa who would see the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu lose the presidential elections.

El-Rufai made this known in a recent interview on Channels TV.

According to him, there are elements within Aso Rock that are not happy their candidate lost the party's presidential primaries.

In his words; “I believe there are elements in the Villa that want us to lose the elections because they didn’t get their way.”

“They had their candidate and their candidate didn’t win the primaries and i think they are still trying to get us to lose the elections.”

“They are hiding behind the President’s desire to do what he thinks is right”
