Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has appointed a Yoruba man, Adebayo Oyeyinka, as a Permanent Secretary in the state
Oyeyinka, who hails from Osun State, is the first non-indigene to attain that level in the history of the state.
His appointment was announced during President Bola Tinubu's visit to Anambra to commission projects built by Soludo.
At the event, Soludo said, "The last time a president visited for a commissioning was in 2012 for a brewery, but today, the president is here to commission roads spanning several kilometers, flyovers, a government house, and more.”
Also speaking, Tinubu vowed to tackle the erosion crisis in Anambra and work on a gas plan for the state.
The President also promised to include the state in the Federal railway plan.
