Soldiers in armoured vehicles parade Lagos state ahead of election

Armour vehicles filled with soldiers have been spotted arriving in Lagos state ahead of the election on Saturday, February 25.

This is coming after the Nigerian military launched ‘operation safe conduct’ across the country.

The vehicles seen on the roads have left fear and panic in the minds of the citizens. However, this move is to ensure a free and fair election and prevent any foul play by unscrupulous people.

According to reports, the military have also released a list of hotlines to the public to report any suspicious act of violence by unscrupulous persons during the general election.

This effort is to support the security agencies in ensuring peaceful elections across the country.
