Six bandits killed in Niger

A security task force in Niger State has killed six suspected bandits in Shiroro council area of the state.

It was learnt that the suspects were neutralised as the task force repelled an attack in Garkogo district.

Sources said the task force moved in following a tip-off that some bandits had beseiged some villages in the area.
