Simon Ekpa and Peter Obi clash over sit-at-home directive

Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa has slammed Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party after he condemned the sit-at-home activity happening in the southeast.

The Biafra factional leader earlier announced a two-week sit-at-home in the southeast.

As a result, some members of IPOB stormed the streets in the regions to attack people including school children seen outside their homes.

In a post share on his Twitter page, Peter Obi described the disruption of businesses and social activities in the southeast as disturbing. He also called on the security agencies to tackle the criminal activities.

He tweeted; "Also Also disturbing is the continued disruption of business and social activities in the South East region over the Sit-at-Home directive purported to be coming from the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, when the body has publicly denied issuing such directive. What is going on in the South East therefore is essentially a criminal activity that must be nipped in the bud, with all hands being on deck, security agencies, and the people alike."

This statement didn't seat down well with Simon Ekpa as he took to his Twitter page to tackle Obi.

He questioned the former governor of Anambra state if he has become the IPOB spokesperson.

"Help me ask this ijiot who is IPOB? Obi is now IPOB spokesperson"
