Shouts of joy as Atiku returns to his alma mater in Jada

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has paid a visit to his alma mater, Central Primary School, Jada.

Upon arrival, Atiku was greeted with loud cheers from students and residents who stormed out to catch a glimpse of the former vice president.

Sharing his excitement at been back to where it all started, Atiku on his X page on Wednesday, November 22 expressed his joy as he thanked the people for their warm reception.

He wrote;

"Nostalgic. Today, I returned to where it all started. My Alma Mater, Central Primary School, Jada.

"It's always great to be back home in Jada and to be reconnected with family, friends, and kinsmen. The love and reception is vintage Jada.

"It brought joy and fulfilment to return to my alma mater, Central Primary School in Jada, where I presented scholarships and awards to outstanding students within the Ganye chiefdom of Adamawa State."

Atiku also, engaged in a tree planting drive at the Unity House in Jada.

"We have to be deliberate with efforts to preserve our environment, particularly in semi-arid and arid regions that are prone to rapid deforestation. Not long ago, I kicked off a tree planting drive at the Unity House in Jada. #PlantATreeToSaveOurEnvironment, Atiku said.

The Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate in the 2023 election also expressed his gratitude to the District Head of Jada, Alhaji Murtala Umar Ardo for hosting him ahead of his birthday.

"It was an honour hosting the District Head of Jada, Alhaji Murtala Umar Ardo, who came to congratulate me ahead of my birthday anniversary."
