Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has urged the Enugu State government to probe a video showing the wares of some Hausa traders getting destroyed in a market in the state.

According to him, the traders don't deserve to be treated the way they were, as they had been doing business peacefully in the state.

Sani also pointed out that every Nigerian deserve to live and conduct their business in any part of the country.

He shared on X, "The video clip in circulation about Hausa Butchers' tables being vandalised in Enugu Market should be investigated by the Enugu State Government and action taken to protect the traders who have been marketing their goods peacefully in the state. Every Nigerian has the right to live in any part of the country and pursue his legitimate business without intimidation or harassment. The hostile behaviour is condemnable and unacceptable."
