Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has warned those converting Jabi Lake Park in Abuja into a residential area.

According to him, the park, which was designed for picnic and recreation activities, is being carved out and sold.

He warned those engaged in the activity to remember that whatever approval they got for the land will be scrutinised tomorrow.

Sani shared on X, "Jabi Lake Park Abuja, was designed and constructed by the Obasanjo administration over 2 decades ago.

"The picturesque space is a hub for picnics, camping and recreational activities for Abuja residents.

"Its sad to see the land being caved out and sold. I don’t even know what they are constructing there.

"Those who bought the land in violation of the master plan should know that the approval of today will not stand the scrutiny of the future."
