‘She has had enough’ – Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly getting a divorce

Controversial rapper Kanye West and his reality star wife, Kim Kardashian, are separating, with talks of divorce in the works, Page Six reported Wednesday. The couple have been married for nearly seven years but in recent times, the marriage has been on the rocks and the pair have been leading separate lives up to the time of the report.

Kanye has been living on his Wyoming ranch while Kim and their four children, North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 1, live in the 40-million-dollar home in Calabasas, California.

“It’s gotten to the point where they haven’t spent time together as a married couple in months,” a source told E!. “They’ve seen each other for the sake of the kids but have been living separately. Kim knows the marriage is over. She’s known for a while.”

A source close to the family revealed that their interests no longer align and they both have things that they want to keep doing that are important to them.

“Kim has work and projects that are important to her, and Kanye has his,” the source said. “Their lives don’t overlap much.”

The source added that Kim, who is very passionate about prison reforms and studying to be a lawyer, “seems happy” and is “very focused on work and causes. She strongly believes she can make a change when it comes to prison reform.”

What has kept Kim from filing for a divorce are her children because, according to People, she wants to make the best decision for her children. Meanwhile, Kanye knows his estranged wife will definitely file for divorce and although he is sad, he knows it is imminent.

“He knows that she’s done. She has had enough, and she told him that she wants some space to figure out her future,” a source told People. “He’s okay. He’s sad, but okay. He knows the inevitable will happen, and he knows that it’s coming soon.”

Kanye has had a couple of public meltdowns last year from his unsuccessful presidential run, revealing intimate family scoops to the public. Sources told People at the time that West’s campaign came amid a new cycle in his bipolar disorder.

40-year-old style icon Kim took to Instagram and opened up about her husband’s condition and struggles and asked the media and general public to give her family the “compassion and empathy that is needed” so they can “get through this.”

Kanye’s almost nonappearance at her 40th birthday party all put a strain on their very public marriage as Kim was quite upset. “He showed up late and left early, he wouldn’t appear in any of their Instagram shots. All he did was bring over the hologram of her father Robert Kardashian, then got out of there as fast as he could,” a close family associate revealed.

Reports also indicate the pair spent the holidays apart. “She’s done,” a source told Page Six. “This divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot.”

“He’s on very thin ice with her right now, and she’s truly trying to decide what to do to protect the kids, but also her own sanity. The whole thing is discouraging and difficult for her.”

Reports say things between the couple have deteriorated and “it’s not about the marriage anymore, she’ll always care for Kanye but it’s over between them.”
