Entertainer Nons Miraj said she came up with the idea for the trending Pop The Balloon show, where singles seeking love select from an array of opposite-gender singles.

The show became popular thanks to a woman in the US, Arlette Amuli. However, Nons Miraj claims she started her own version long before Amuli.

"The one you are seeing in the US, we started before her," she said on the Tee With Tay podcast.

Nons Miraj said she was three years into the show before the US counterpart started hers and trademarked it as Pop The Balloon.

"She trademarked it Pop The Balloon, so when Netflix wanted to do it, they contacted the person who trademarked it. When she even started, people were saying this is Nons Miraj. We used to see such in her comment section," she said.

When asked if she was certain about her claim that the US lady copied her idea, she said, "She copied."
