Some Nigerian music insiders are beginning to speak up concerning the rape allegation against singer D'banj by exposing details about his accuser Seyitan Babatayo.

Musician Joshua Vincent said that Seyitan, who claimed that she had never seen D'banj before the alleged rape incident, used to cook for D'banj in 2018 and once stayed at his suite.

Joshua Vincent made the revelation amid doubts to the rape story told to the public by Seyitan.

He tweeted: "This is wickedness. I remember in September 2018 when @iamdbanj and the band went for a show in Cutonou . It was this same @Seyitann that cooked for us before the show and ended in Dbanjs Suite with other Groupies or should I say Kokolet’s. God help us now Na N1.5B you go pay".

His tweet was corroborated by a music insider who revealed that Seyitan is a groupie.

@cheekychizzy_ wrote: "Jboy that’s the same girl O wei cook rice wei all of us chop o before that Cotonoue show this life smh Face with open mouth She is a Fxxxxing groupie, I know many guys that has issued her bro including Frank".

Music producer, Samklef also aired his own opinion saying: "People are now coming out to speak about seyitan issues. This case is beyond words. And so many judges online. She said she never saw D'banj b4 that day, but September she was cooking for the dbanj band boys. Hmmm".

The recent development corroborates an interview MyNigeria.com had with journalist Kemi Olunloyo.

In the interview, Kemi Olunloyo revealed that many celebrities in the industry called to inform her that Seyitan is a groupie whom they've been with.

The interview with Kemi Olunloyo also revealed that Seyitan's mother pleaded with D'banj over her daughter's allegation against him. This was later confirmed by human rights activist Segun Awosanya aka Segalink.
