Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti has called out the popular music group, P-Square for their support of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

Kuti, whose songs are known to address the failures of Nigeria's leadership dragged the veteran singers for supporting a "better candidate" now after years of supporting the now opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) when they were in power.

Recall that Seun Kuti has opined that Peter Obi “cannot save the country’’.

Like his colleague, Brymo, Seun has been very open about his stance on Mr Obi’s presidential ambition.

On the other hand, P-square has been at the forefront of the campaign for a Labour Party presidency.

See how Nigerians are reacting

Just last year, Asa performed her socially-conscious “Fire On The Mountain” song to the President’s face without acknowledging his presence or sharing regards. That’s one of the practical ways to make an impact.

You should be proffering solutions to the problems, not just living your activism behind the camera, ranting and smoking weed altogether. Emulate your father.

People naturally assume that the majority must know best so they don't want to contend with the risks or consequences that may arise from deviating away from the safety of the crowd so they don't get canceled or bullied online..
