109 senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have donated their December salaries to the victims of the accident bombing in Kaduna last Sunday.
The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, made this known on Sunday at the Kaduna State Government House when he led a high-power delegation of Senate members to the state.
The Senators were received at the Government House by Governor Uba Sani.
Recall that on December 3, the Nigerian Army accidentally bombed the Tudun Biri village in Kaduna state.
This killed about 126 people and injured several others who are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
According to a witness, the bombing occurred on two occasions. It was said that after the first bombing, residents rushed to the scene to help their neighbour but another bomb struck, killing even those who has come to render assistance.
This incident has since sparked a massive uproar in the north as they call on President Bola Tinubu to probe the bombing in Kaduna.
