Senator Ishaku Abbo has officially dumped the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and will announce his new political party later this week.

The former Adamawa North senator announced the move on Monday morning, citing the deepening crisis in the ADC's Adamawa State chapter as the reason for his departure.

His exit came barely 48 hours after the camp of Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, popularly known as Binani, withdrew from the party.
