Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has been mocked on social media for commissioning a public toilet built by his administration.
Even though the public toilet is said to be the first of several others Otti's administration reportedly intends to build, some social media users believe such projects are beneath his status.
According to some, such projects should be left to the chairmen of local community development associations (LCDAs), because they are even beneath what a local government chairman should be embarking on, not to mention a governor.
An X suer, @owolanky, said, "See Wetin Abia state governor is commissioning. These people wanted to teach Yorubas 'good governance' Thank God for Ronus because how do we leave our own leaders to follow these mediocrity."
@MrGabby008 said, "This is the first-ever "ultra-modern" public toilet in Abia State. So, you can't blame them."
@Shayolala said, "Wetin be this ni to ri olorun....when no be LCDA chairman.....o ga bayi o..."
@touraffairs said, "You won't blame them it's first of its kind in the entire South East."
