See the names of 12 officers, 89 soldiers who fled Boko Haram attacks in Borno

The Nigerian army has released the names of the 101 soldiers who fleed Boko Haram attacks in New Marte and Dikwa towns in Borno State.

Since the news broke, the Nigerian Army ordered the arrest of the escapees.

Premium Times reports that three majors, three captains, six lieutenants, and three sergeants were among those who ran for their lives during the attacks.

There is also an order to freeze their bank account until they report to base or are brought "under military escort to this Headquarters".

The recent development has cast a shadow on the fight against insurgence.
