Scores injured as train crushes BRT bus carrying govt staff

An accident has occurred at the PWD area of Lagos state.

Report indicate that a passenger train crushed a Lagos State Government staff bus around 7am on Thursday.

An unspecified number of people have been reported dead and many injured.

Spokesperson for the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Taofiq Adebayo, who confirmed the accident to Punch.ng said rescue operation is currently ongoing.

“The accident recorded many casualties as the bus is fully loaded with govt staff going to office this morning,” he said.
