Sanwo-Olu signs budget of N1.168tn for 2020

Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has signed into law the budget of N1.168tn for the year 2020.

The governor disclosed this via social media where he thanked the lawmakers in the State Assembly for the speedy passage given to the budget.

A statement issued reads:

"I signed the N1.168tn 2020 Lagos Budget into law today. This is a bold move in our determination to deliver a greater Lagos. This is the first budget prepared by our administration and it demonstrates our tenacity to the vision of achieving the Lagos of our dreams.

"I acknowledge our legislators for the speedy passage of this budget and this goes to show that cooperation between the executive and legislative arms of government is essential to building a greater Lagos".
