Rilwan Ajetunmobi, an aide to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, has mocked the vision for State Police in Osun State, shared by Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is seeking re-election.

During a town hall meeting in Osun on Tuesday, Adeleke was asked to state what his vision for State Police is.

He said, "I trained my children very well. I’m a disciplinarian. If any of my children commits a crime, I will not intervene to protect them from prosecution. People know me; I don’t intervene for anyone."

Reacting, Sanwo-Olu's aide shared laughter emojis on X to mock the vision.

Meanwhile, Adeleke has addressed critics of his dancing skills, saying he dances because his family is full of jolly fellows.

The governor, however, stated that dancing does not stop him from working.

He said, "I dance because in my family, we are jolly good fellow. As I am dancing, I am working. There is time for everything, there is time to dance and there is time to work. Dancing does not stop me from working. I have delivered across all sectors."
